Wilderness Wednesdays

Our Wilderness Wednesdays is an after school program which operates entirely outdoors and aims to provide a fun and educational experience for children, ages 6-14. Each session is designed to engage students in outdoor activities, apply interactive learning methods and gives them the ability to directly observe and explore their local forests

Activities and lessons will be differentiated based on age groups.  However, we will also provide opportunities for the older youth to work alongside the younger students, helping to promote a sense of leadership and mentoring faculties. 

Held at the Coyote Trails Nature Center in Medford OR, this program is split into seasonal trimesters.  Offering fall, winter and spring sessions.  Students must enroll for the entirety of the chosen trimester. 

Fall: September 6th - November 29th

Winter: December 6th - March 6th

Spring: March 13th - June 5th

Hours: Every Wednesday 1pm - 4pm

$100 per month ($300 per trimester)

*$50 deposit due upon enrollment

*Program does not operate during Medford School DIstrict's annual holiday breaks.

Please register for your chosen session below.  We offer a 5% discount if you enroll in multiple trimesters.

*Please only submit one enrollment.  Our staff will check in with each family in regards to enrollment in multiple trimesters.

For Madrone Trail Public Charter School Families: 

In collaboration with Madrone Trail, we will be offering transportation from Madrone Trail to our school location for our Wilderness Wednesdays Program.  We will arrive at 1pm every Wednesday to pick up your children for early release at 1:15.  Parents will pick up at 4pm at Elements Nature School.
